Soy Bernardita Ballesteros, inicié mis estudios como artista visual en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes en Buenos Aires, Argentina, luego me formé como fotógrafa creativa profesional en la Escuela de Fotografía Creativa Andy Goldstein.
Creo que la forma que tenemos disponible para cambiar el mundo es contando historias y generando experiencias que nos conecten, la fotografía es una de las herramientas que elijo para hacerlo, siempre utilice al arte como un medio, desde mi sensibilidad, desde mi corazón, desde mi esencia, para crear conciencia y aportar mi grano de arena al mundo.
Creo en en el arte y sobre todo en el poder de las imágenes como herramienta para la comunicación. Las imágenes tienen la capacidad de atraer, informar y evocar emociones de una forma en que las palabras no pueden alcanzar.
Vivo jugando con mi imaginación, por lo que también me gusta crear mundos ilusorios, inventar historias y hacerlas realidad a través del arte.
Viajar y conocer diferentes costumbres y culturas abrió mucho mi percepción. No se viajar como un turista que vacaciona, lijo instalarme por un tiempo y adentrarme en nuevos mundos, jugar a ser local, conectar con la gente del lugar y que me enseñen sobre su manera de vivir y ver el mundo. Esto me ayuda a ver la profundidad de las cosas y darle mayor sentido a la vida, lo comprehender lo mágico que es el universo que nos hace a todos diferentes y únicos.

I am Bernardita Ballesteros. I began my studies as a visual artist at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Later, I continued my studies as a professional creative photographer at the Andy Goldstein's School of Creative Photography.
I believe that the way we have to change the world is by telling stories and creating experiences that connect us. Photography is one of the tools I choose to do so. I have always used art as a medium, expressing myself through my sensitivity and my essence—to raise awareness and contribute my small part to the world.I believe in art and, above all, in the power of images as a tool for communication. Images have the ability to attract, inform, and evoke emotions in a way that words cannot achieve.

I found my self constantly playing with my imagination, which is why I also love creating imaginary worlds, inventing stories, and bringing them to life through art.
Traveling and experiencing different cultures has greatly expanded my perception. I don’t travel as a tourist—wherever I go, I choose to settle for a while, immerse myself in new worlds, connect with local people, and learn from their way of living and seeing the world. This helps me understand the depth of things and find greater meaning in life, to comprehend how magic is the Universe that makes us all different and unique.
